Overview of the service
CU Mortgage Services DAC (MSDAC) was established in January of 2024 to assist Credit Unions, with the objective of creating a standardised mortgage product, processes and brand while also supporting the uplift in overall mortgage capability in the Credit Union Sector. MSDAC will be responsible for establishing Credit Unions as a competitor in the mortgage marketplace and in doing so providing more choice for our members, following the launch of our mortgage product in 2025.
The company comprises of a very experienced leadership and Credit Union relationship management team, which combined have more than 150 years of mortgage experience. Using this expertise and in collaboration with Credit Unions, MSDAC are committed to creating a distinct mortgage proposition for Credit Union members.
The vision of the company is to create and launch a unique mortgage product, proposition and brand which aligns to the identity and values of the Credit Union movement and is instantly recognisable to its members. The mortgage will provide differentiation to the current Irish Market offering which will offer a competitive and attractive option to Credit Union members from what is the country’s most trusted financial services institution.
Through innovation, experience and differentiation MSDAC will enable Credit Unions to become a central provider of mortgages in the Irish market.

Become a Participating Credit Union
We are currently working with our first phase of participants to develop our mortgage product and proposition. Following the launch of our mortgage in 2025, we will begin to consider interest from additional Credit Unions.
